fucking awesome final last show. we had nearly 50 listeners which is incredible!! thank you to anyone who listened/made requests. we had a great time. scott (manager at rainydawg) just informed us that we have been for sure hired back in the fall. we will have a one day a week show from 9-11pm. stoked on that shit!!!
so tomorrow is my last day of french, at least for summer quarter. i just have to take a test then yaeger and i depart for california. this will be a well deserved break for me. lots of swimming, tennis, traveling and hanging out will be had!!!

ended up skipping class yesterday. just absolutely didnt feel like going. plus i hadnt missed a day all summer so i figured i could take one day off, though i'll probably regret it today. i only have one week left. cue the apathetic approach to this last week, now!
ps~thank you to everyone who listened to our show yesterday. we had a total of 38 listeners which is the highest rated show of the summer thus far for rainydawg!

so literally, i think the new circle takes the square is maybe one of the best emotional hardcore albums ever! bold statement....perhaps. i only got it yesterday and i think ive listened to it at least 8 or 9 times all the way through already. i mean, i expected good things from this band when i first heard the pg99 split, but holy hell! few albums have really immediately affected me the way this has.
anyway, the show tonight was fun. thank you melissa for getting me in free!!! locust and hella were both the jam! red light sting totally half assed it and put on a pretty mediocre set, which was unfortunate because i usually really enjoy their live show. as expected, lots of awkward, insecure kids in bad clothes, never passing up the opportunity to 2nd glance someone, showed up. it looked like everyone had a good time so whatever.
